Open House - Proposed Zoning By-Law
03/01/2010

The RM of Headingley Council invites property owners and residents to attend an Open House to review and provide input on proposed revisions to the RM of Headingley Zoning By-Law. The Zoning By-Law sets out how lands in our community should be used. It establishes zoning districts and deals with such matters as permitted and conditional uses, minimum yard sizes, accessory buildings and structures, and signage allowed in each district. Landmark Planning & Design Inc. prepared the proposed revisions to the RM of Headingley Zoning By-Law in on-going consultations with the Headingley Council and the Headingley Planning Advisory Committee that is comprised of a cross-section of local residents. The Open House will be held in the Headingley Community Centre, 5353 Portage Avenue, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 and will run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Open House will begin with a brief presentation on the zoning by-law format. Storyboards setting out the main components of the by-law will be available for viewing. Representatives of Landmark Planning & Design Inc. and the RM of Headingley will be available to answer your questions or respond to any concerns. If you have any questions about the proposed Zoning By-Law, please contact Curwood Ateah of Landmark Planning & Design Inc. at 453-8008 or landmkpd@mts.net or Ray Muller, Development Officer, RM of Headingley at 837-5766
